General Motors India Friday said it will commission a 160,000-unit powertrain engine plant at its Talegaon manufacturing facility in Maharashtra by this year-end. More » New Delhi, Sep 1 : General Motors India today said its car sales for the month of August has witnessed an increase of 33.70 per cent at 7,941 units, primarily driven by the response to Chevrolet Beat, Cruze and Spark. Dan Akerson began his tenure as General Motors' CEO quietly Wednesday, although a chance for GM workers to hear his voice is coming.
